The new Bajaj Pulsar RS 220 will take major design cues from its smaller 200cc sibling. It will feature a modern-looking twin LED headlight setup, sleek redesigned tail section, and more sophisticated body panels that will give this sports bike a premium look. Under its fully faired body, it will be based on a steel perimeter frame. It will be fitted with a 320 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 230 mm disc brake on the rear wheel. The Bajaj Pulsar RS 220 will also come with a twin-channel anti-lock braking system. This sports bike is likely to be equipped with inverted telescopic front forks and a Nitrox rear mono-shock absorber.
It will be featuring a newly designed 220cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, powertrain with DTS-i technology. The Bajaj Pulsar RS 220 engine will be fuel-injected and liquid-cooled. We expect its 220cc motor to produce at least 25 PS power and 20.6 Nm of peak torque. This sports bike will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox that will help it crank out better top-end performance.
