Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Summary
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will basically carry forward the design language of the NS series motorcycles with minor tweaks. It is expected to look muscular and aggressive as its siblings. Under the skin, it will be based on a lightweight beam-type perimeter frame. It will come fitted with 43 mm inverted front forks and a multi-step adjustable nitrox rear mono-shock absorber. Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be equipped with a 320 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 230 mm disc brake on the rear wheel. It will also come with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system with supermoto mode. This streetfighter is expected to feature 17-inch alloy wheels with wide radial tubeless tyres.
It will be using the same single-cylinder, four-stroke, triple-spark powertrain derived from the Dominar 400. The liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. Its DOHC engine will deliver linear power right up to the top end of the rev band. The assist and slipper clutch on this streetfighter will provide slick gear shifts and reduce the effect of engine braking. Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is expected to produce around 40 PS of max power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of max torque at 6,500 rpm. It will be equipped with a LED headlight and a fully digital instrument console with a gear shift light.
