Duke 150 will come fitted with USD front forks similar to the bigger Duke series bike, while at the rear it will come with a WP mono-shock suspension. It will come with disc brakes with ByBre callipers on both wheels and it will also be equipped with a single-channel ABS system. The KTM Duke 150 will miss out on LED headlamps but it will come with a fully digital LCD instrument console.
Is it Really Going to Launch in India?
As mentioned above, the brand has not confirmed these rumours and there are no official launch details available. The Current gen Duke 125 is doing really good in the Indian market, so it’s hard to think that KTM will replace it with a new Duke 150. Even with BS6 updates and price hikes, Duke 125 is doing great in terms of sales numbers.
As per the current scenario, we don’t think KTM will develop an all-new 150cc engine for a streetfighter. Even though they do, it will be really hard to price it in the Indian market as its price will be almost similar to its bigger sibling the Duke 200. So, The KTM Duke 150 might not be launched in India anytime soon.
Final Verdict on KTM Duke 150
This 150cc streetfighter looks like a great competitor to the likes of Yamaha MT-15 and Honda Hornet 2.0, at least on the paper. It will be too much of a hassle for KTM to develop an all-new 150cc bike, so its launch possibility is really low. However, if it turns into reality then the KTM Duke 150 will be one of the most exciting bikes in the 150cc segment.
