The Apache series is one of the most successful sports street bike series in India and it all started with a 150cc model. Here is a quick overview of what a new-gen TVS Apache 150 could be like. TVS Apache 150 Summary
Starting with, what would the new TVS Apache 150 look like? We expect this streetfighter to carry the same muscular design with race-inspired graphics as the new Apache 165 RP. It will be based on a reliable double cradle split synchro stiff frame used on its siblings. It might miss out on the USD front forks, instead, it will be equipped with conventional telescopic forks. The TVS Apache 150 will be fitted with petal disc brakes on both wheels and it will also feature a single-channel ABS system. It will feature a large 12-litre fuel tank that should give it a decent riding range.
This premium TVS streetfighter will be equipped with a new 150cc single-cylinder engine with an oil cooling system. The TVS Apache 150 powertrain will be tuned to deliver sporty and rousing performance. It will utilize a 5-speed gearbox and TVS will also equip it with multiple riding modes. A premium race-tuned slipper clutch system can also be seen on this new streetfighter. The TVS Apache 150 will get a sharp-looking LED headlight system with DRLs. It will feature a fully digital LCD instrument console that will show unique data like a 0-60 timer, top speed recorder, & lap timer. This streetfighter will come fitted with tubeless and radial tyres.
TVS Apache 150 Price and Launch Date in India
As mentioned in the beginning this article is just an overview of what the Apache 150 would be like if launched. TVS has not revealed any official information regarding this bike neither we are claiming that it will launch. However, if TVS plans to turn this into a reality someday, we would totally love that. The TVS Apache could be priced around Rs 1.30 Lakh and it will compete against the premium Yamaha MT-15, Honda Hornet 2.0, & upcoming Yamaha RX155.
Does the TVS Apache 150 Make Sense?
TVS already has three models in this segment, so we don’t think the brand would put an extra effort to launch a new 150cc model. However in future, if the brand plans to capitalize on the growing demand for premium 150cc bikes, a new Apache 150 could be a great option. If TVS packs it with a powerful engine and premium features it will help the brand compete against the segment leaders like MT-15 and Duke 125. A powerful and feature-loaded TVS Apache 150 would be loved by buyers who can’t stretch their budget for a premium streetfighter in the 150cc segment.
