This upcoming sports commuter bike will come with an aggressive-looking design like the other Yamaha naked bikes. It will be based on a 125cc single-cylinder powertrain that will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Yamaha FZ 125 engine will be fuel injected and it will use the Yamaha blue core technology. The new FZ 125 will be fuel-efficient and it will also offer a decent amount of power and torque.
It will be lightweight and agile like the other FZ series bikes. It will come with telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock absorber. The Yamaha FZ 125 will use a disc brake at front wheels, while at the rear wheel it may come with an optional drum brake. It might also be equipped with a single-channel ABS system. The FZ 125 will come with features like LED headlights, an LED taillight, an LCD console and split seats.

Current Yamaha Motors India has not revealed any official launch date of this bike. The FZ 125 is expected to launch in India in 2022. The price of the Yamaha FZ 125 in India will be nearly Rs 85,000. In this price range, it will compete with the Pulsar 125, and Honda Shine SP.
