Yamaha has updated the second generation edition of this maxi-scooter with new colour options. The new Yamaha NVX 155 is one of the sportiest and premium looking scooters in its class. It features sharp-looking twin LED headlights like the bigger Yamaha TMAX 560. This maxi scooter is built on a backbone type frame and it offers a large underseat storage capacity of up to 25 litres.
It gets a telescopic suspension at the front end and dual shock absorbers with reservoirs at the rear end. The Yamaha NVX 155 features a 230 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 130 mm drum brake on the rear wheel. It also gets a standard single-channel anti-lock braking system and it runs on 14-inch sporty alloy wheels.
It is powered by a single-cylinder, four-stroke 155 engine with variable valve actuation. Its blue core engine is liquid-cooled and it uses an electronic fuel injection system for fuel supply. The Yamaha NVX 155 makes 15.4 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm. Its fuel tank capacity is 5.5 litres which gives this Yamaha scooty a riding range of up to 200 km.
