Yamaha has revealed the latest version of its entry-level scooter named the SMAX 155. It comes with a premium-looking design and looks very beautiful. There have been no major changes to this year model. The Yamaha SMAX uses a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a v-belt automatic transmission.

Yamaha SMAX Summary
The 2023 SMAX doesn’t get any major design updates, except for new colours. It continues to use the same old 155cc single-cylinder engine that is mated to an automatic CVT gearbox. It makes 14.8 BHP of maximum power, while its peak torque output is 13.5 Nm. The Yamaha SMAX Top speed is around 80 mph. It is also very fuel-efficient, its mileage is nearly 35 kmpl.
The new Yamaha SMAX uses a 267 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 245 mm disc brake on the rear wheel. It doesn’t get any ABS or traction control system like the Yamaha Tricity 300. The front suspension is a 33 mm telescopic fork unit and it gets a single-shock absorber at the rear. The Yamaha SMAX 155 weighs 148 kg in running conditions.
