Yamaha XSR 300 Launch Date and Price in India
As per the reports, the XSR 300 is currently in its initial development stage just like its sibling the XSR 250. Yamaha will soon reveal a prototype of this bike in one of the upcoming auto shows. Once the prototype is revealed, the final production-ready model will be launched soon.
The brand has not revealed any official launch dates for the upcoming 300cc sports heritage. The Yamaha XSR 300 is expected to launch in India in the end of this year. As the R3 is already on sale in India, it won’t be a big step for Yamaha to launch its sports heritage sibling.

If this retro-styled motorcycle is launched in India then it will carry a very high price, like the supersport R3. The Yamaha XSR 300 price in India will be Rs 3.6 lakhs INR. It will be one of the costliest 300cc bikes on sale in the Indian market. It will compete with the Honda CB350, & KTM Duke 390 in the Indian market.

Overview
The XSR 300 will come with the same design as its bigger sibling like the XSR 700 and 900. Its design will be retro-styled and that will make it a unique bike among its competitors. It will be powered by a 321 cc twin-cylinder engine that will use an electronic fuel-injection system for fuel supply.
Its DOHC engine will be liquid-cooled and it will come with a 6-speed gearbox. The Yamaha XSR300 will make around 42 PS power and 29.8 Nm torque. It will be one of the most powerful retro-classic motorcycles on sale when launched. Its top speed will be around 170 km/h and it will be able to cruise at triple-digit speed easily.
This retro-classic motorcycle will come with USD front forks and a hydraulic mono-shock suspension at the rear. The Yamaha XSR 300 will come fitted with hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear wheel and it will also get dual-channel ABS. It will come fitted with alloy wheels and dual-purpose tyres.
